We Came as Romans, often abbreviated to WCAR, is an American metalcore band from Troy, Michigan. Their journey began in 2005, marked by the formation of the band. Over the course of their history, they’ve gone through name changes and their lineup has gone through several shifts. Notably, they signed a deal with SharpTone Records in 2016, transitioning from Equal Vision Records, of which they had been a member since 2009.

The band’s discography showcases an extraordinary body of music, including six studio albums, that has resonated with fans around the world. Their debut album, To Plant a Seed, was released in 2009, followed by Understanding What We’ve Gron to Be in 2011 and Tracing Back Roots in 2013.
