Xinghai Jungle Path Puzzle Guide
In Star Ocean, completing Jungle Road puzzles is crucial to progression in the game. To solve this puzzle, you’ll need the Solstice Amulet, which allows you to control the Sun and Moon without standing on the Solstice Prism. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to complete the Jungle Path puzzle:

Get the Solstice Amulet:
If you don’t already have the Solstice Amulet, you’ll need to travel further through Watcher’s Island to get it. Once you have it, you can return to the Jungle Path Puzzle.
Find the puzzle:
Return to the puzzle next to the waterfall.
Understand your goals:
The goal of this puzzle is to adjust the three mirrors to reflect light onto the diamond above the statue’s head. The mirror and light are controlled by the winter shard and dial, so you need to approach it systematically.
Adjust the prism to night:
The light you want to reflect onto the mirror is on the far right side of the stream, but it only appears at night. Turn the solstice prism to the side of the moon so that it becomes night. This will also lower the rearview mirror.
Adjust the mirror angle:
When the mirrors are lowered and light is visible, you need to adjust the angle of each mirror correctly. Use your Gust ability (X or Square, depending on your controller) to adjust them as follows:

Move the glass completely away from the mirror you’re facing opposite, and one space to the right.
Left rearview mirror:
Face the glass completely toward you and tilt it one notch to the right.
Right Mirror: Move the glass completely away from you, then one frame to the left. This alignment will cast light onto the statue’s diamonds.
Hold up a mirror:
To raise the mirrors so that light can reach them, you need to use a trigger to adjust the solstice prism to daytime. Stop on the large diamond on the right so that all the smaller diamonds are filled. This will raise all mirrors.
Adapt quickly to night time:
Even if the mirror is raised, no light will shine through during the day. Tonight aim the prism at the large diamond on the left and quickly re-angle the prism. Make sure at least one diamond on the right side is still lit to keep the mirror up when the light hits it.
Watch light reflections:
If you time it correctly, you’ll see the light reflect off the mirror and onto the diamond above the statue’s head.
Enter the newly opened entrance:
When light hits the statue, a portal opens, allowing you to enter a cave. Inside, you can collect a chest containing some gear and reach the Rainbow Conch chest on the ledge to the left of the statue, which was previously unreachable.
