“Call of Duty: Black Ops III” is a shooting game produced in 2015. It is the 12th game in the “Call of Duty” series and tells the story of “Black Ops II”. In Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles, obtaining the Lightning Staff is a critical step in surviving and completing major Easter egg missions. Here is a simplified guide on how to obtain and upgrade the Lightning Staff:

Get the Lightning Staff:

Collect equipment: First collect points from the excavation site and get the gramophone. Additionally, to find a black record, it can be located in three possible locations:

• Machinery near excavation site sign.
• On a wheelbarrow near Pack-a-Punch.
• Behind the excavation site, near the path leading to the church.

Set up the gramophone: Once you have these two items, return to where you found the gramophone and set it down. This will reveal a passage leading to the staff room below. Retrieve the phonograph after the passage opens.

To create a lightning staff:

Obtain the Lightning Record: Go to Generator Area 4 (where the Juggernog is located) to find the Purple Lightning Record. It can be found in three different locations:

• Pushing the carriage along the muddy path.
• On the table to the right of the Wunderfizz machine.
• In the Windgate Tunnel, to the right of where the portal is being built.

Visit the Lightning Tunnel: Go to the Lightning Tunnel near Generator 5 and place the gramophone on the table. This will activate a portal to the Land of Madness. Inside, you’ll find a purple pedestal containing a lightning crystal. Take it back to the main map.

Retrieve the Staff Parts: Ride the tank located under the church to collect the Lightning Staff Parts. If playing alone, you’ll need to ride at least twice. With teammates, you can save a trip.

• On the first ride, jump onto the first platform on the right past the tank to collect parts.
• On the second ride, wait for the tank to park outside the tank warehouse near Generator 2, then grab the part.
• On the third ride, as the tank approaches the church, stick to the right side of the tank, then jump to the right and follow the path inside to find the final section.

Assemble the Lightning Staff: With all the necessary components, go to the staff room and build the Lightning Staff on the purple altar. This staff releases electricity to defeat enemies.

Upgrade Lightning Staff:

Return to Madness: Return to Madness and find the pink triangle line near the purple teleporter area. Note the line opposite it for guidance on completing this step.

Execute Lightning employee code: focus on the bottom row of arrows. Please follow these steps to enter the code:

• First, press the first, third, and sixth arrows.
• Wait for the charge to disappear and then hit the third, fifth, and seventh arrows.

Final steps: Once the switch is set correctly, the sparks will stop and Samantha will confirm. Head to the bottom of the excavation site and a purple orb will be floating at the bottom of the ring. Interact with the lever in this area until all rings turn purple. Shoot the orb with the Lightning Rod and it will rise to the ceiling.

Charged Soul: Place your staff on the pedestal where you obtained the crystal in Madness. Now, kill the zombies and transfer their souls to the staff. When you have enough, the employee inventory box will light up, indicating completion. Move walls carefully in “Crazy Land”.

Use the upgraded Lightning Staff:

With your upgraded staff, you can unleash a powerful electric blast that will destroy zombies within its range. Additionally, you can use the d-pad to turn the staff around, and charge to revive downed teammates from a distance.
