Alchemist’s Mortar Mission

• The Alchemist assigned a mission to acquire the mortar and marked its location on the map as Alchemist Tower in Lone Thistle. Players should prepare food, water, bandages, healing potions, weapons, and pink orbs.

Discover the Alchemist’s Tower

• From Springlands Spire, players can head north to the Farmer’s Vault. Choose the Revelwood area (facing level 11 enemies) or the “Back Road” (fewer encounters). The Alchemist’s Tower is clearly visible above the Shroud.

Find the necessary mortars

• The mortar is located in the basement, accessible via a staircase on the first floor of the tower. Players can find a button inside the tower to open the door, or they can use the pink ball to break into the cell and bypass the button search.

Use the pink ball to break in

• Players with a gunpowder ball can break the stone surrounding the gate to gain easy access to the mortar. Alternatively, players can find the button on the second floor and open a cell revealed via an exterior platform.

Uncovering the Mortar Unit

• On the second floor, head to the third floor to find an opening with rubble and a diary entry to find the button that causes the back pain. Interact with the button to open the cell and allow the player to grab the mortar. Return home, place the mortar, and talk to the Alchemist to complete the mission.
