Halls of Torment Item Tier List

Each character in Halls of Torment offers unique playstyles and abilities. While some characters excel in certain areas, others may face limitations. Choose the character that suits your preferred playstyle and conquer the challenges that await in the deadly Halls of Torment.

1) Archer

The Archer is considered the most powerful character in the game. With a seemingly endless supply of arrows, she can quickly dispatch enemies with her rapid-fire, long-range attacks. While her defensive stats are low, her exceptional speed and damage output make her a formidable force.

2) Swordsman

The Swordsman, although the starting character, is by no means weak. With decent attack power, good defense, and solid defensive growth, he can hold his own in battles. His short-range cone attack allows for effective close-quarters combat, and his decent movement speed enables him to maneuver swiftly.

3) Sorceress

Master of arcane arts, the Sorceress wields electric bolts that can chain to multiple enemies. Her attacks are powerful and retain their effectiveness throughout the game. Her main attack covers a cone-shaped area, and successful hits can chain to additional enemies. She excels in dealing with burst damage, making her a formidable foe.

4)Exterminator

Specializing in fire-based attacks, the Exterminator wields a flamethrower that inflicts burn damage over time. His rapid-firing weapon allows him to afflict multiple enemies simultaneously. However, the Exterminator faces challenges in the late game due to his low actual damage output, relying heavily on waiting for burn damage to take effect.

5) Shieldmaiden

The Shieldmaiden is a defensive powerhouse, boasting the best base defense and defensive growth in the game. She can withstand significant damage that would overwhelm other characters. Despite her strong defense, she is also a capable attacker, wielding a mace that impacts a specific area . Additionally, her shield bash periodically hits a wide area, offering a balance between offense and defense.

6) Cleric

While the Cleric may have slow movement and attack speed, her powerful double-sweep cone attack compensates for it. Her attacks can deal significant damage to weak enemies and bosses alike. With careful upgrades to range and area/projectile size, players can maximize Cleric’s attack potential.6)

7) Warlock

The Warlock possesses interesting concepts but falls short in practicality and power. His main attack involves summoning homing demons that deal low damage initially but can scale up with leveling. His upgrades focus on empowering summons but often clash with his main attack style. The Warlock’s weak health regeneration and underwhelming damage make him less effective in the late game.

Classes in Halls of Torment

There are currently more than five classes available in Halls of Torment, and the developers have plans to significantly expand the roster in future updates. As new characters are released, we will update this guide and include them in our ranking system.

S Tier List: These are the top-tier classes in the game, considered the strongest due to their exceptional abilities. We highly recommend obtaining an S-tier class as soon as possible for optimal gameplay.

A Tier List: These classes are fantastic choices and serve as great alternatives if you’re unable to acquire an S-tier class. They offer strong performance and can be valuable additions to your team.

B Tier List: While not the strongest in terms of power, these classes are still good options, especially for beginners who are new to the game. They can serve as reliable fillers in your party.

C Tier List: We advise against including these classes in your party, particularly if you aim to efficiently clear content. They may not perform as well compared to other classes.

D Tier List: These classes are not worth upgrading or using at all. It is recommended to completely avoid them as they do not provide significant benefits and may hinder your progress in the game.
