The experience increases for higher level glyphs are designed to incentivize players to push their builds, making them feel more fulfilled when they reach level 100. We will monitor the impact of this experience change on players and encourage you to provide us with any feedback about the system.

  • Introduced further support for NVIDIA Reflex technology. Visit the in-game settings to enable this feature.

Diablo 4 gameplay

In this game, players gradually become stronger by defeating tougher enemies and customizing their character’s skills through equipment and talent trees. Enemies are divided into different families based on theme, fighting style, and location, and each family has unique characteristics. The story focuses on the people of the asylum rather than high fantasy themes, aiming for a more grounded narrative.

A player’s effectiveness depends on the item’s properties and enhancements, including offensive stats like attack and critical strike chance, and defensive stats like elemental resistance. Diablo IV introduced new attributes such as angels, demons, and ancestral powers. Items vary in rarity, indicating their power, with the rarest items having unique effects.

The game includes trading and crafting focused on resources, as well as limited-time seasons that change legendary powers. Microtransactions provide cosmetics, and an internet connection is required to play; offline play is not possible.

Diablo 4 plot

Players, known as “Wanderers,” are drugged by corrupt villagers and bond with Lilith. With the help of the Horadrim Loras Gnar, their goal is to prevent Lilith’s return and fulfill the prophecy. They seek guidance from the first nephalem, Rathma, and face challenges orchestrated by Lilith, including unleashing a demon.

The journey involves fighting corrupt individuals, unraveling Lilith’s plan for empowering humanity to fight the greater evils, and fighting the reformed lesser evils. Ultimately, Lilith is defeated, but warns of the challenges ahead without her. The Wanderers and allies return home, aware of the looming threat from the Source of All Evil.
