Dark and Darker’s February playtest is underway and the development team has been enjoying it. Even though the official release is still a year away, the community and team have created a tier list based on their experience during playtesting. It’s important to note that as the game is still in its early stages, these rankings are subject to change and will be adjusted based on new changes being tested in February.

Player preference and play style should always be the top priority when it comes to tier lists. The Dark and Darker team has done a great job balancing the classes so that each one excels in different situations. Rankings will be primarily influenced by the class’s overall versatility and skill potential, taking into account solo, duo and trio play and their suitability in different team compositions.

Priest: Having a Priest in your party can give you a lot of security because of the versatility of their abilities. They can heal, tank, revive, and deal extra damage to undead enemies on the maps where they prevail. The only potential drawback is that they are slow and difficult to pair with fast-paced classes like Barbarians and Rogues. However, they are still a much sought-after type at parties.

Ranger: The Ranger is a highly regarded category, as evidenced by the low number of complaints received.
