The episode begins with Bong Yifen rushing to the scene of an accident, only to tragically discover his deceased mother. She then moved in with her aunt and grandfather. Yefen’s aunt urges her grandfather, Dr. Zheng, to escort Yefen to school, but he ignores the request. Yewen’s aunt introduces her to Okhee, the daughter of her late mother’s best friend, who attended the same school. Yuhui, an eccentric girl, provides Yibin with insights about the school and its people, developing a close bond with Yibin over the years.
After completing his studies and training as a veterinarian, Yiwen returned to his hometown and established a veterinary clinic. Despite her objections, her aunt was financially motivated to bring the livestock to the clinic for treatment. Moon Jang Yeol, a police officer from Seoul, arrives in town and joins the violent crimes team. He and Zhang Lie met when Yiwen handed Zhang Lie a poster.
