In terms of setting, Battlefield 2042 takes place in the near future and provides players with futuristic weapons, gadgets, and vehicles. Gameplay revolves around intense multiplayer combat, featuring elements like Levolution from Battlefield 4 and extreme weather effects like tornadoes and sandstorms.
