In China it was released on May 1, 2019, elsewhere on January 16, 2020, and in Taiwan on June 29, 2020. You can play it on Android and iOS devices such as mobile phones and tablets. The game has something called a “gacha” which is a way to get new characters or things in the game.

Arknights gameplay

In Arknights, the gameplay is like a tower defense game, but with special characters called “operators” who act as your towers. Some operators fight at close quarters on the ground, while others attack from a distance. The goal is to place these operators strategically on the game board to prevent enemy forces from reaching your base.

You can also use your operators’ special abilities to help in combat. This isn’t a fast-paced game, you can pause it and take your time planning your moves. As you progress, you can unlock more levels, characters, and resources. If you do well on a level, you can even set it to autocomplete, meaning the game will remember your strategy and repeat it for you.

Arknights also has a base-building component where you can build different facilities and assign operators to them. This can help you collect more resources over time. The game uses a system similar to that of a trading card game, where you earn characters by playing the game or spending in-game currency or real money.

Arknights plot

The story of “Arknights” takes place in a world called Terra, which has become very bad after experiencing some catastrophes. People in this world have animal-like characteristics, and those disasters left behind a precious mineral called Source Stone. This mineral causes a disease called oriosis, but it also gives people special abilities called “art” or magic. The problem is that oriosis is contagious and fatal, so people with it are treated poorly. Some of them even formed a group called the Reunion, who fought against Terra’s powerful government.

In the game, you play a character called “The Doctor” who wears a mask and has lost his memory. You lead a team of special personnel known as “Operators” who work for Rhode Island, an organization that performs medical work and protects itself. Rhodes is searching for a cure for oriosis while also defending itself against attacks by the different governments of Reunion and Terra. This is a story about struggle in a world filled with magic, disease, and conflict.
