Apex Legends is a free-to-play game where you can become a hero and compete in battle royale. It is produced by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. You can play it on PlayStation 4, Windows and Xbox One from February 2019. It is also coming to Nintendo Switch in March 2021, and to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in March 2022. A mobile version called Apex Legends Mobile has been announced and will be launched in May 2022 for Android and iOS. The game allows players on different systems to play together, except for the mobile version.

In Apex Legends, you can form a team of two or three players and choose a character with special abilities, called a “Legend.” There are two ways to play: “Battle Royale” has teams land on an island, search for weapons, and try to be the last team standing. The game area gets smaller over time, so you have to keep moving. In “Arenas” you earn points through 3v3 matches and lead the opponent by two points.

The game belongs to the same science fiction world as the Titanfall series. Some characters from Titanfall appear in Apex Legends. Development on the game began in 2016 but was kept a secret until release. People were surprised because they thought Respawn Entertainment was developing Titanfall 3. Apex Legends has received critical acclaim for its gameplay and how it combines different genres of games. Many players loved it, and it became extremely popular, with millions of people playing it within weeks of its release. As of April 2021, it had approximately 100 million players, making it one of the most played games of all time.
